Servicing Hospital, Aged Care and Home Care clients in all states of Australia, and currently working on projects in the Middle East, Africa and Europe.

With the incidence of pressure ulcers costing governments and private care providers billions of dollars each year, we are working closely with these sectors to find better practices, procedures and devices to minimise these costs.

Evidence based best practice for minimising the onset of pressure sores (decubitus ulcers) is frequent turning of the patient.

For the immobile patient, this is usually achieved by nursing staff manually turning the patient every two hours.

This of course puts nursing staff at risk of back and other related injuries by manually turning what can be heavy, frail or aggressive patients, and this also puts a strain on resources.

Manual turning also puts the patient at risk of injury, especially with the frail elderly who bruise easily and can suffer from skin shear, also patients being woken up for regular turning leads to interrupted sleep patterns, which in turn leads sleep deprivation.

We specialise in devises that are capable of automatically turning the patient with minimal input from nursing staff, which frees them up to perform other important duties.

Pressure Care Management is not only confined to the frail elderly, as many other conditions can result in even the young being confined to bed for extended periods of time.

These include, Acquired Brain Injury, Spinal Injury, Burns, Intensive Care, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, Quadriplegia, Paraplegia, Huntington's Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Dementia, Cancer, Palliative Care, etc.
